You are very welcome to our services in Passiontide and Easter, listed below.
You are also most welcome to attend a special performance of Bryan Kelly's Crucifixion in the church, 6pm on Friday 31st March. Conducted by outgoing Director of Music Tim Brown, St Botolph's choir and friends will be accompanied by David Poulter at the organ in this musical reflection on the events and themes of Christ's passion. 11am: Sung Eucharist with Palm Procession
Wednesday in Holy Week, 5th April
10.30am: Holy Communion (said)
9pm: Compline by Zoom, led by Tim Brown
Maundy Thursday
Maundy Thursday, 6th April
9am: Morning Prayer and Holy Communion (said)
Good Friday
Good Friday, 7th April
9am: Morning Prayer, Litany, and Ante-Communion
A classic Prayer Book service, combining acts of penitence and supplication with readings telling and reflecting on Christ's passion.
5pm: Evening Prayer (n.b. not at the regular time of 4pm)
Easter Day and beyond
Easter Day, 9th April
11am: Sung Eucharist
From Easter, our services resume their normal pattern, including
Choral Mattins on Low Sunday, 16th April at 11am.
Regular services
In addition to the above, Morning and Evening Prayer are said in the church every weekday, at 9am and 4pm.
